We support any platform that our code (JS) can be added to. Our script works with tag managers such as Google Tag Manager. The script should be added to all pages, including cart, checkout, and order confirmation pages.
All popular platforms support this feature and we have customers on Shopify Plus, Magento, IBM, Oracle, Demandware, Netsuite, Prestashop, and numerous custom platforms.
Do you integrate with offline sales?
Yes, we combine physical purchase data with on-site data to create a true 360 customer view.
What kind of support do you offer?
We schedule an initial training session with all clients. After, we use a ticketing system to address specific questions. Questions are typically handled within an hour via email and a call is scheduled if needed.
How long does setup take?
Setup takes 1-2 weeks from the time the code is added to your site. If you are using product recommendations or email personalization, an additional 2-4 weeks are needed for data gathering.
What kind of reporting do you provide?
In addition to our dashboard, Barilliance triggers events in Google Analytics allowing you to compare campaigns and monitor performance with third-party tools.
Will it slow my website?
No. The Barilliance script loads after your site. Additionally, we dynamically add server capability as needs rise. We currently process hundreds of millions of requests per month with no issues.
Do I need to sign a contract to use Barilliance?
No. We do not require a contract. You pay month to month based on usage.
How does pricing work?
Our pricing is month to month, fixed tier pricing based on usage. You can select products a la cart or use them together for a full personalization suite. You can request more pricing information here.

How does your machine learning work for product recommendations?
Our machine learning algorithm assesses user behavior across 4 key inputs:
Individual Customer Behavior - this includes pages visited, search terms, products clicked, products added to cart, etc.
Aggregate Customer Behavior - second, we aggregate behavior across customers to draw correlations.
Product Catalogue Data - third, we incorporate product catalogue data such as product titles, categories, sub-categories, product descriptions, and keywords.
Custom Variables - Lastly, we incorporate custom variables such as product color or price points.
Can I override suggested products? (For example, to satisfy merchandizing needs, campaigns, etc.)
Yes. You are able to set specific product recommendation rules.
Like other recommendation widgets, you can select which visitors see these rules based on site engagement (ex. First time visitors, cart content, products viewed), onsite behavior (ex. Current URL, visited URLs, time on page), traffic source, visitor environment (weather, geographic location, device), or visitor insights (customer profile, retention segment).
How do the product recommendation insertions work? Do we need to redesign our pages or insert additional tags?
You do not need to redesign any pages. During setup, we style the recommendation widgets to match your site.
Before we turn recommendations live, you are able to see the recommendations and give feedback.
What counts as a sale/conversions? What is your attribution model for product recommendations?
We attribute sales only to products that have been sold following a click on a recommendation within 24 hours.
In the dashboard the graph of conversion of people who clicked means customers who clicked on any recommendation even if they have not bought it.
